Greetings, I'm Paige—an internet native and dedicated digital marketing expert. I graduated from Texas State University in 2017 with a degree in Mass Communication. When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my dog Sunny and my cat Merlin, attending concerts, staying fresh on the latest trends (AKA scrolling TikTok), and dabbling in photography.
Get to know me:
At Texas State University, I took classes in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication to learn media writing, public relations, media law and ethics, web design, and coding. I received a minor in Philosophy, which helped me cultivate strong reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical skills and develop a broad world view and strong sense of ethics. This pursuit enriched my approach to various challenges in my personal and professional life.
I pursued Advanced Placement courses for college credit. Throughout all four years, I was an active FFA member. As a member of the Agronomy team, I competed in regional and state competitions. In 2011, my team secured first place at the Texas FFA State Convention and I placed as a top ten individual. That same year, my team competed at the National Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. I also raised and sold goats to earn scholarship money for college—the irony of me now being a vegetarian is certainly not lost on me.
I manage digital advertising within the Division of Marketing and Communications to increase enrollment and promote the university's efforts in alignment with its goals. My responsibilities range from advising on budgets, strategy, and creative to the execution, ongoing optimization, and reporting of campaigns.
I strategized and executed all forms of digital marketing for a wide roster of clients. I created organic social media content strategies, executed PPC campaigns across Google and Meta platforms, managed SEO campaigns, and everything in between, with an emphasis on research and optimization. I also assisted with branding projects, scouting and securing new business, and building strong client relationships.
The Casitas are a family business. I coordinated development of the brand, logo, professional photography and continue to coordinate or create all marketing materials. I built and maintain the website in Webflow and provide technical support for the online booking systems.
I gained great experience in this fast-paced startup agency environment. I developed the digital marketing department, from its workflow to the software and programs used for both internal and client marketing strategies. I designed client websites, managed their PPC campaigns, and sent monthly reports. Internally, I collaborated with the entire team on standardization, design and production of marketing materials. I also generated new leads through social media campaigns and attended all meetings with potential clients.
Over the course of my six month internship, I worked alongside the marketing department to provide insight on social media best practices and develop a strategy. Senior living is a unique challenge for a digital marketer due to the primary demographic, and I enjoyed seeing how the industry is adapting to modern marketing techniques.
